Origin Story
Did you know that over 90% of coffee production in Costa Rica is on small, family-owned farms? The Naranjo region in the West Valley is famous for producing award-winning coffees due to the rich volcanic soil and distinct weather patterns between rainy (growing) and dry (harvesting) seasons, creating an excellent terroir for coffee cultivation. The ripened beans are picked between November and February, making for a festive harvest season amidst the Christmas and end-of-year celebrations.
